Our trip to San Jose was quite smooth, despite a bit of running around in the Dallas airport due to a last minute gate change. Though it did involve a bit of zipping from one terminal to another, we were not in danger of missing our flight. Rather, there was a minor crisis when our window of opportunity to make a Starbucks pit stop almost had to be cancelled. Yet, with coffee in hand, we made our flight.
Getting to our hotel was easy as well, especially with our driver waiting with sign in hand to deliver us safely to our destination. Our simple, clean room right in downtown allowed us a good night sleep and ready to start the day. However, I was ready too early, still on Boston time, and with 40 minutes to wait until coffee was available! Those of you that know me first thing in the morning know the anger I had during those 40 minutes. Funny though, here we are in Costa Rica, the coffee capital of the world, and we are here to learn about coffee, and it has been our only problem! All is well though. Caffeinated and fed, we are about to head out to do some sight seeing in San Jose. Hopefully after that, the blog entries will start to be more interesting.
The minute I saw the title I knew exactly who wrote this! LOL I told you to bring some extra! haha If anything, you chew on the coffee beans ;) lol At least Cacciatore got to see your pre coffee phase nice and early so she knows what to expect! LOL
